The Spa

Okay, so for our girls night out, we went to the Spa! It was awesome! We spent a lot of time hanging out in the pool just talking. The thing I liked about the spa was that the water was warm so I did not feel cold and start to shiver way too early. It was just comfortable and when we went outside it did not feel that cold even though it was -20ish.

I hate being wet....I hate the feeling of being wet. I enjoy swimming but I like to go to a pool, swim and then change. I hate going to the lake, swimming, and then drying (almost) but then going back into the lake for a little while. I like to swim, get out, and change.

The spa was awesome that way, we even had the chance to go back to our room to change as well. It was awesome!

Girls Night Out

Tonight we had a girls night out! It was a lot of fun and very interesting...We did not do anything wild or crazy but we did spend a lot of time sitting around and talking. (Which is why it was very interesting...it is amazing what you find out about other people, especially people that you know.)

Hoar frost

Honestly, I do not feel like looking up how to spell hoar frost but I can tell you that it was very pretty this morning when I stepped out of the house.

I love the winter when the trees look so pretty glittering with the ice that forms on them...

(although it is not fun scraping it I tell ya....)

Venting

There are days when you just need to vent. You do not mean anything by it...you do not mean to be mean but sometimes....

Like when someone has papers that you know you need to fax to someone by a certain day and you keep reminding that person for 3 weeks that you need to fax it to this person by this day but that person ignores you or keeps putting you off and you miss the deadline. It reflects badly on you when really...what could you have done differently?

Oh well....I guess if worse comes to worse you could always just vent? LOL

Personal days

Today I was off work on a personal day. We have personal days at my work where you can take a day off to help a family member if they are going through some sort of medical problem.

It was nice to be able to take the day off work to be with my sister as she started her cancer treatments! It made me feel useful! And it is always nice to have someone to lean on...

Off topic

I love how my brain works sometimes. I can be thinking of one thing and then in the next moment, I have a completely different thought! It is awesome (refer to March 1 post)!

What is better in life than being your own person? Sure, you may find that people look at you strangely, et al, but it is great being yourself!

I like being the person I am...and not caring too much about what others think.
