It's blue!!!!

I dyed my hair tonight and it is blue!!!! Not just a hint of blue either.....BLUE!!!!!! Oh well, I am sure it will fade in time and in the meantime....I have blue hair and I am cool....lol!!!!

Getting ready for another trip...

I am off to Europe in a few weeks and I am looking forward to it (sort of). Some parts I am looking forward to...Some parts not so much.

I cleaned my house today - in particular my fridge. I still need to work on my freezer but my fridge is much better. I feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I feel sorry for my niece though as she came over for a sleepover and all I did was clean. I will make it up to her tomorrow though...(I am sure).

I should be going to bed now though as it is late and I know my niece will have me up early tomorrow!!

Walking

Tonight I went for a walk with my sister. It was not a 'workout' walk (aka I did not exert that much effort) but it was still a nice walk. I would like to get out more and go for more walks now that the weather is nice (and also because I am going to Europe this summer). Hopefully I can accomplish this goal.

Summer storms

Today it is raining. I was watching TV but then my signal went....I had to do something else which is a good thing as now I can do this :-)

I love the smell of rain. It smells so nice. I do not mind thunder and lightning. I know some people are scared but I am not.

One more day of work this week and then I have a 4 day weekend. YAY!

That will be nice!!

Life goes on....

It's so hard to believe that my dad is dead. It is even harder to just go on. I feel that if I just keep living my memory of him will fade. I want to remember him. I want others to remember him.

A few years ago he wrote us his autobiography. I have been trying to find my copy and just cannot seem to find it anywhere. I hope I can find it soon.

I have so much to say but I don't know how to say it.

Maybe that is because I am sick.

my dad

My dad died yesterday and I am still in shock. At least I will be seeing my family soon. That always helps.

I am really going to miss him.

Relatively normal

Today is Good Friday - a time to fast (don't eat that cookie or you will be saying the rosary)... :-)

I went for a walk today. It felt great!!!!

We are going to be colouring Easter eggs soon (a tradition in our family to colour on Good Friday).

We are still doing the normal things at Easter but the big tradition is gone. We are not at the farm.

Oh well

I had the opportunity this week to see my family (at a funeral). It was nice to see them but interesting too as they all seem older....Imagine that!!!

It is hard to believe that my aunts and uncles are getting older and soon they will no longer be with us.
