Joey and the Roads

I think that should be the name of a band, what do you think?

This weekend I went out to the farm. The roads were not nice! (especially for March) The roads were really icy on the way there and were snowy/crappy on the way back. Thankfully I was not driving. Somehow we made it home (which is awesome). I was not sure we would make it but we did!

We also spent the weekend watching Joey (which anyone who has been out to the farm lately will know about). It is actually quite an amusing show. It is too bad it was aired so soon after Friends. I think that if it had been given some time, it would have had more of a following.

Someone once commented that my blog posts were always so negative and that I should post something positive....so my subject is a smily face.

I feel happy today.

Tomorrow I am going out to the farm. I need to eat healthily and exercise lots.

We also need to celebrate the March birthdays (because it is the best month of the year).

My car wouldn't start this morning so now I am stranded at home. (At least until someone has the time to pick me up...) It will be okay as I can now study but it is really annoying. Maybe I should have someone look at my car (and have it cost mega money).

Winter blah

I want a garage!!

I hate winter. Correction: I hate some things about winter. I hate having to scrap my windows every morning. Actually - I hate having to scrape my windows when it is SOOOOO hard to scrape that you can only scrape a bit of your windows. But what I especially hate about winter is how my car keeps freezing up!!!

Early this week it was really cold. So cold that I could BARELY get my driver's door open. I could not open my passenger door at all...or at least not until the next day! I tried to get gas earlier this week as well and my gas tank was frozen. Eventually the guy at the gas station poured a hot cup of water on my gas tank to unfreeze it. The other thing I have noticed about this winter is that some days I can get into my trunk but other days it is frozen. I never know what it is going to be....

If I had a garage I really would not have to worry about any of that!!! I could just park in the garage and rest easily knowing that my car would not be frozen.

How many more years will I have to live without a garage?


I hope not many...

Showering in the Dark

Sadly my light bulbs burnt out (or at least that is what I thought happened)...little did I know that in fact my light in my bathroom died. I tried changing my light bulbs in my bathroom with no luck.

:-(

I have resigned myself to the fact that I will be showering in the dark until I can get an electrician to come out and check things out.

Oh well, life is full of adventure right?

Calzoni

Today I made some calzoni for my lunches with my mom. I have not had calzoni for a long time so I am looking forward to it!!

There is a lot of snow over here...I hope I can get to work tomorrow.

welcome 2011

There is something about the start of a new year. You have made no mistakes yet. But I guess you have not done brilliant things yet either. But that is the brilliance of a new year. You can start over again.

There are so many things I have not done yet, like go grocery shopping, or do laundry. Yes, I think of fun and exciting things.

In other news - I feel like I am going to get a cold.
