Perception

Every day at work there is a daily question we can answer. Today's question was:

What is the secret to success in life?
Answers (to choose from): hard work, talent, intelligence, luck, money, good looks, sense of humour

My answer was none of the above. I think that it is all in your perception of what success is. If your idea of success is to be a celebrity (for instance) and you never become one, you have not succeeded. Or even if your idea of success is a mansion with lots of money, and you never earn more than 5 digits, you have not succeeded.

My question then is: what is success? How do you define it? And then I ask myself - have I succeeded?

As soon as I figure out what my definition of success is, I will let you know.
